A Christmas celebration – at Midsummer

Karácsony ünneplése – a nyár közepén

I am really falling into love with Prague… You can tell that I am not online too much: this place indeed keeps one busy! As I shared my musical experiences of only one day, on Facebook, it is music everywhere and all the time.
Tényleg kezdek beleszeretni Prágába… Megmondhatjátok, hogy nem vagyok sokat online: ez a hely tényleg ad elgoflaltságot az embernek! Mint ahogy csupán egy nap zenei élményeit elmeséltem a Facebookon, zene mindenhol és minden időben. 

Yesterday I could hear one of the most unbelievable things: a Christmas celebration – in June!
Tegnap az egyik leghihetetlenebb dolgot hallottam: karácsony ünneplése – júniusban!

As I learned it from two of the singers, it was not an orchestra or a choir: singers and musicians simply gathered to do a few known Christmas carols together. The occasion being that it is half a year to Christmas, so why shouldn’t they celebrate now?
Mint azt két énekestől megtudtam, ők nem egy zenekar vagy egy kórus voltak, hanem énekesek és zenészek egyszerűen összejöttek, hogy néhány ismert karácsonyi éneket eljátsszanak együtt. Az alkalmat az adta, hogy félévre van karácsony, hát akkor miért ne ünnepelhetnék most is?

Instead of being dead empty and quite, because all the locals would escape out of town on summer weekends, Prague is a lively place.
Ahelyett, hogy halálosan üres és csendes lenne, mert a helyiek nyári hétvégéken kimenekülnek a városból, Prága egy életteli hely.

She is also photographing, dancing, writing, acting, modeling, and forever learning through her journey in the world, living out of a suitcase. Her attention turned to healthy living after a cancer surgery in 2008. Proud mom of a big boy.
